Triumph Dining Rooms

Since I just called Carnival and got nowhere with the people there, I thought I'd try you folks (you probably know a lot more than them anyway!)

 

For the Triumph, is the 6:15 dining time for the Paris or the London dining room? I would prefer the Paris one. The guy at Carnival told me that it is determined which dining room has which seating time at embarkation and the times for dining change depending on which port we're at (that's a new one for me, on the two cruises we've been on, you're assigned a time and that's your time!)

When we went on the Triumph a year ago, we dined early in the Paris dining room and that was at 5:45 p.m. Not sure if that has changed. Hope this helps.

When we sailed on July 14, 2007 the 6:15 seating was in the London Dining Room.

Only if you are eating early and are lucky to get a window table, the sunsets can be breathtaking.

 

If you are stopping at a port in the evening, the odds are only one dining room will be open and it will be open seating.

I was on Triumph in May I requested 6:15 dining which was London, after reading reviews I changed my mind and called my pvp back and requested Paris 5:45 and I got my request.

In April, on the old Eastern itinerary, we had 8:00 seating in Paris. On our sailing (which is all I can speak for)-- Paris was 5:45 & 8:00, London was 6:15 & 8:30.

I want the Paris dining room since it's at the back of the ship and has all the windows around it. I'm going to call them today and get them to switch it.
