pipster37 Posted July 31, 2007 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2007 Reguarding the cruises to South America. When you disembark it is usually around 8:30 to 9:00 am. I have checked most of the flights from South America back to the states leave around 10:00pm. What do you do with your luggage for 8-9 hours? I do not believe it is safe to leave it out of your sight and if that is the case do you just sit in the airport that long? Thank you.
cujosmom Posted August 1, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2007 Pipster - There will probably be some type of shore excursion from the port that will tour Sao Paulo and then drop you off at the airport late afternoon. Actually we've booked a day room at a hotel near the airport for approx $45. We will relax around the pool, take a nap, shower, change to clean clothes and then head to the airport for our overnight flight. The hotel offers shuttles from/to airport.
