Question for all past Hawaii Revealed Book Users

I have been looking at many different Revealed Books on line and I noticed that there are lots of publication dates for each book.

Do you think there is much of a difference between the older publications and the newer ones? Has anyone used an older book and been satisfied with it? There is quite a difference in price between these publications.

 

Another question about the Road to Hana audio guide.

Are the cd's easy to purchase in Hawaii or should I buy one before I leave?

 

Just trying to get everything done, 8/27 is just around the corner now!!

If you go to the "revealed" website they actually list the updates. I just printed the updates for the books that I had and was on my way. They really are great books!

Kat, you can purchase the CD guide for the Road to Hana at a booth just outside the Shell station in Kahului (at Dairy Rd).

Kat, sorry, I'm not certain how much it was, but I think it was around $15. That included the CD and a map noting the points of interest. It also came with some coupons for items at the Shell convenience store.

 

We've driven the Road twice now and enjoyed it both times. Have a great trip!

Thanks for the info. I was able to buy a Maui Revealed book on eBay for $1.00 and then I printed out the update on the revealed site. I will look for the CD at the Shell station when I get there.
