embarkation-Galaxy from Baltimore

We got our tickets (yeah!) for Sept 17 leaving from Baltimore-it indicates on the ticket we are to board @ 3pm with the ship leaving @ 6pm. We are CC penthouse deck. Never sailed on Celebrity before-are they strict on boarding times or could we board a little sooner?

Generally, you can board anytime after noon, but your cabin will not be ready. They will have alot of reprovisioning and refueling to do, as the ship will have just arrived from a Transatlantic voyage (which I will be on!).

A realistic boarding time would be anywhere from 2-3 PM. They'll let you check in around noon, but it takes customs a bit of time to clear everyone, and for the previous cruise to disembark (we cruised on the Galaxy in March, and disembarked at 1 PM...we boarded at 2:30, 10 days before). Be prepared for the wait in a cramped terminal if you get there too early, and LOOOOONG lines if you get there too late. We waited in the terminal, and enjyed getting to know our fellow cruisers;) !

Take Care,

Jaime
