J@L Cruise Posted August 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2007 Thinking of booking a balcony cabin on deck 6 towards aft 6368,6370. Just wondering some pros & cons of cabin location & deck. Will you able to feel more motion, walking distance etc. Any info would be great. Thanks

Generally if it's motion you are worried about the low decks at the center of the ship are most stable - near the ice rink. You should enjoy the location of those cabins as much as any. Very little traffic passing your door. Near the stairs if you need them. Nothing on a ship is really very far away unless you get lost or have trouble walking. enjoy :)
FOXTROT Posted August 5, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 5, 2007 Would have been nice to know what ship. The location is not that far of a walk on like the Freedom. A little farther on the Voyager class. Not that high or that far aft to make much of a differance in motion. Go for it.
phoenix1181 Posted August 5, 2007 #5 Share Posted August 5, 2007 We love deck six on Voyager class. It's a pretty central location and a reasonable walking distance to everything. I have a problem with seasickness but do okay on six although I still need to take the meds. I've seen posts indicating you don't want that white space across from your cabin because it frequently means a service area for the crew. We've always had cabins across from us and have no experience with that situation. You may want to check that out. Otherwise, those cabins are pretty central which should mean good sailing. Have a great cruise!
