Need Help Deciding which Tour

We will be in Belize the end of Sept. on Glory. Our first trip to Belize.

Trying to decide which excursion to do, thru the ship or on our own here are the choices, please provide your feedback.

We want to snorkel for sure.

Bannister Island w/snorkel thru Coral Breeze tours $60

Goff's Cay snorkel & beach thru Carnival 3.5 hours $59

Barrier Reef Snorkel @ Turneff w/beach break thru Carnival 3.5 hours $69

Normally we always book independently not thru the ship but I like the idea of leaving right from the ship and not tendering but what is more important is the snorkeling experience and the beach.

Looking forward to all your thoughts and suggestions.

We enjoyed Bannister. It is a lovely place with a nice beach, plenty of chairs, food and drink, and a nice roped off swimming area. I saw some people in kiyaks, so I guess that they are rentable.

Their reef snorkel trip was fun and we would do this trip again. We booked at the tender dock with Fab Tours and the trip was originally $48 or $50 pp. We had our own snorkel gear and I got them down to $40.

If you didn't want to tender, $10 extra for the ship tour would be the way to go. IMHO

Thanks, we were leaning towards the Bannister trip because of all the great reviews.

You said you booked thru Fab Tours, is that a totally different company than Coral Breeze?

Had you researched this prior to sailing or did you just walk up and find them when you arrived in port via tender?

It was a spur-of-the-moment thing. We do that alot.

It is a different company than Coral Breeze, but I have seen good reviews on CB tours.
