Recommendation for fishing in Ketchikan

We went salmon fishing with Ken Teune, Northern Lights Charters,1-888-550-8488 toll-free, in July while on the Sapphire. Ken is just fabulous. Not only did we catch salmon (unbelievable) but he was personable and knowledgeable. He lives in Ketchikan year round so really knows the place and people. We got off the ship early and were waiting on the dock to meet him--everyone knew Ken and assured us that we would have a great time. He handled everthing to have the salmon processed and sent to us--it arrived just as planned. Ken teaches Jr. High during the year and was incredible with our two teenagers. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Thanks for the info. We are fishing with Ken on 09/02 and can't wait. Apparently he takes personal days for a few of his sept. trips. We are lucky that he is taking one for us.
