ohfan Posted August 7, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2007 Sailing on the Valor in December and all three are appealing though I must admit the Coral Breeze trips seem to be a better buy with more to see and do. Bannister has manatees and snorkeling. Caye Calker has 2 snorkel sites with sharks and rays. Which is the better for seeing fish. My DW loves fish. Anyone do these? Which one would you recommend? Any input is appreciated. Thanks to all.
_islander_ Posted August 7, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 7, 2007 We just got off the Legend and did the Manatee tour and Bannister Island/snorkeling with Coral Breeze! I had a wonderful time! There was a great variety of fish, coral, rays, barracuda, etc to see while snorkeling. Bannister Island was absolutely beautiful!! We saw about 8 manatees. They were amazing!! We went to a mangrove and they stopped the boat and we all got out on the edge of the boat to look for them. We also saw beautiful dolphins. It was a great experience and the scenery was beautiful! If there are any questions you want to know about the tour, let me know!

Have only done land vacation there, but there snorkelling is fantastic, we snorkelled off the Reef and saw, Rays, Manatees, turtles that where actually swimming inches from my tummy as I lay on the water looking down, nurse sharks, grouper fish (big ones) and then the usual little fish, I didn't see any barracuda on my trip to belize but have done in cayman.
