Clothing for Glacier Flightseeing?

Not sure if this reply is too late since you might have boarded your ship already...just layer your clothing...I had a sweatshirt on under a very light jacket that had a hood plus I had a pair of very thin 'driving' type gloves shoved in my pocket just in case. The helicopter company outfitted us with orange vests plus boots before we boarded the helicopter. They will also weigh you before boarding and then you will be assigned where to sit depending on how they need to distribute the weight for the helicopter. This is an AWESOME excursion and well worth the cost!

Have a great time!

Its about 10 degrees colder on the glacier than in town. But there is wind that comes over the glacier (without this it gets really foggy), so that adds to the chill.

For us, it was 82 degrees in town. We did the 2 hour trek on the glacier and wore jeans and a t-shirt + the outerwear that the company gave us.
