CruisinCandy10 Posted August 14, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2007 Are the washers and dryers on the Glory regular size like you would see in a land based laundry mat? Dh & I will be sailing on her Sept. 1st. I don't want to take alot of clothes. But, will have to do a couple of loads during the week. Thanks, Candy
buddyjo143 Posted August 14, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 14, 2007 My DSIL did laundry for her family of 3 kids back in December. They are single load washers, not the industrial double loads like you can get at home.

Just Dh & I.Cruisin Candy The Purser's desk will change dollars to quarters so you don't have to bring them if you don't want. They also sell little packs of soap. I do believe the price was comparable to land prices.
LornaT Posted August 14, 2007 #6 Share Posted August 14, 2007 Washers and Dryers - $2.00. Detergent (powdered Cheer & Tide) - $1.00 per box Downey Fabric Softener - $1.00 per box/packet The deck 6 laundry on Glory has 4 washers and 6 dryers when I was on her in 2003 and I believe 2 ironing boards and irons. You can get rolls of quarters form the Casino also.

evelynpsilva Posted August 15, 2007 #8 Share Posted August 15, 2007 i agree!!! If you're on a 7 dayer they always have the laundry bag special. whatever you can fit in the paper laundry bag provided in the rooms is just $15. I do this all the time. it's so nice to go home with clean clothes.
ffmikey Posted August 16, 2007 #9 Share Posted August 16, 2007 Just got off the Glory August 4th. I used the washers and dryers there. We did it at the heat of the day on our last sea day. It was $2 to wash and $2 to dry and a box of soap was $1. The area was clean and there are timers to let you know when the load will be finished drying. Set your watch and off you go!
