Possible Rio Guide

I received some information from "Mike" in Rio, who holds wine tastings and gourmet events. He uses the email "Food & Wines Rio De Janeiro". Does anyone have experience with this tour guide? We would want to enjoy some wine and food experiences when in Brazil, so this might be of interest to us. However, we don't want to work with someone who is an unknown.

I have more information now, but am waiting for anyone on CruiseCritic to respond. The contact is Mike Taylor. He runs various tours and makes arrangements with guides and resources in Rio. He leads some of the tours himself, as I understand it. He has branched out to food and wine events, which is how I got his name.

 

Anyone used him for Rio shore excursions?
