Radisson Hotel in San Juan???

We had a one night pre-cruise stay there in February. The hotel was fine. We had a wonderfully big room (I think it was a suite). There was a sitting area and small kitchenette. The bedroom had an electrically adjustable bed which we enjoyed as you adjust both sides of the bed independently - great as I like a soft mattress and my husband likes it firmer! There's a roof top pool with sun loungers around it if you have the time to enjoy a little sun - we didn't as we were picked up by RCCL at 11am.

We were SO tired from our travelling from England (about 15 hours) that we just crashed into bed when we arrived at midnight, but we went out for breakfast the next morning. The hotel buffet breakfast looked nice but seemed a little pricy. Can't remember the name of the diner we went to, but come out of the hotel and walk to your right. Not the first diner you come to but the second one (Denny's rings a bell(?)). Great full monty breakfast with pancakes, juice, coffee, toast etc for about $7 each.

Stayed there 3 nights pre-cruise. It was the only hotel that had twin beds and was available the week I needed it.

It was wonderful. Just a short maybe 2 blocks to the beach. Some nice stores and restaurants within walking distance. They had a tour excursion desk in the lobby and a casino right in the hotel too.

My only problem was I had booked a year in advance on Travelocity, and paid in full. When we arrived at the hotel at 10:00 pm, and got to our room, there was 1 king size bed. I called down to the lobby and explained I had paid for a twin not a king. She said we arrived too late, there were no twins left, they could bring up a roll-a-way. I was really upset. The next morning we went down to reception and talked to the gal on duty. She was very apologetic, moved us up a floor to the Concierge Class rooms for the last two nights with a nice balcony and twin beds and a little plusher surroundings.

Even with this glitch, I would recommend the Radisoon.
