Dharma517 Posted August 17, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 17, 2007 DH and I are on the Explorer that leaves next Sunday. We have stateroom 8300. Guess it is really too late to worry about it at this point...just hoping for some good info. It is getting really close now and I can't wait. We haven't been on a vacation without our 3 kids in 3 years!!! Jenn

See the Ice Show, sip some champagne, stare at the sun as it sets, go dancing, in short have a good time. d

Dharma517 Posted August 17, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted August 17, 2007 Thanks so much! I tend to get motion sick so I was trying for the middle of the ship. I just noticed while looking at the photo of the stateroom...is the balcony wall (the part that you lean on to look over to see the ocean) made of plexiglass or steel? I was hoping you cold see thru it. Jenn

Dharma517 Posted August 17, 2007 Author #6 Share Posted August 17, 2007 Thanks Sue!! I have looked at your pictures before. My husband loved the shots going under the bridge. I think he is looking forward to that the most. I got my question answered that you CAN see the ocean while sitting down on your veranda! thanks again jenn
cb at sea Posted August 17, 2007 #7 Share Posted August 17, 2007 I think you'll find yourself standing at the rail looking at the ocean, more than you will be sitting down and looking through the salt-sprayed glass bottom! Enjoy your trip--wish I was going!!!
