Aft Rooms on Splendour of the Season

Has anyone had experience with the Aft balcony rooms on Splendour of the Seas? There is a price drop on our cruise for Guarantee balcony rooms to the same as our oceanview room and we were considering it - but knowing we have to take whatever room we get assigned. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

 

(Obviously I can't type - the title of this thread shows that -- too excited about this cruise!)

The side balcony cabins on the Splendour have bigger balconies than other Vision class ships. Of course, the aft balconies are huge. I would definitely go for the upgrade!

Thank you so much for answering so quickly! We just selected the guarantee balcony room. I am so excited! There isn't alot of information about the Splendour on this site it seems like. We are really looking forward to seeing the E. Med. and cruising for the first time.
