Ice Skates

Does anyone know about the sizes of ice skates on Liberty of the Seas. Do they have small childrens sizes.

I have not yet been on the Liberty, but have been on many of the other Voyagar class ships where they had ice skating available. They do have ice skates for young kids use, there were many youngins (4 and 5 years old) skating along with their families.

 

I can attest that in women's sizes, they ran true to size. I wear a size 9 shoe, I got a size 9 skate. DH wears a 10.5, and rented an 11.

 

Be sure to bring your own socks (eeeeewwwww if you don't! ha ha ha) and make sure you also bring long pants. You can't skate in short pants.

Yoga pants, sweat pants, jeans, dockers, etc are fine. Just as long as its a long pant :)

On the Freedom, they had very small sizes. We had a five year old with us and they had his size. Have fun.

LOS had a child size 11. I don't think they had many sizes smaller then that.

on AOS my 3 year old was able to get a size 8 which I think was the smallest they offered.

This is sooo funny! I was just thinking about this very question last night, and here it is answered before I could even ask it!

 

I have a very petite 5-year-old who gets to bowl in her own shoes because most of the bowling alleys don't rent shoes small enough for her (she still wears a size 8 -- the same size as her 2 1/2 year old brother).

 

I know she will want to skate if big brother and big sis do, so it is great to know they come in small sizes (and I will bring thick/extra socks

I was thinking about this as well. My DH who is 3 keeps telling me she wants to try ice skating. Happy to hear they come that small. This will make her day.:)
