I personally have not been to the Bamboo Beach Club, but I was looking into it for our upcoming cruise to Jamacia. After reading several posts on this site, we have decided not to book this excursion. From what I read it is ok if you just want to lay out in the sun, but as far as swimming in the ocean, they said the water was only knee high and not worth it. Read some of the posts yourself and make up your own mind. Go to carnival cruise lines, search this forum, click show posts, and enter bamboo beach club. hope this helps
