Hotel in Jacksonville

Hi All,

 

We're on the Celebration in December and are looking at hotels in Jacksonville. From recommendations and reviews on a travel review website, we made reservations at the Wingate by Wyndham by the airport.

 

Has anyone stayed there? Is it nice? If it isn't, any recommendations for other hotels?

Check out www.tripadvisor.com you can find nice hotel and read lot of reviews, plus sometimes get a good price.

LOL that's where I read the reviews.

 

Apparently, the Wingate Inn has always been there, but its just recently been acquired by Wyndham, so I wanted to know if the quality went up or not.

I guess since youve done booked your not looking for a hotel but the Holiday Inn Express is the closest hotel to the Jaxport cruise terminal. It is a really nice motel but it is in the middle of no where ( except the cruise ship). There is a Wendys and Quiznos nearby but nothing else. Cost you about 30 bucks from the airport for a taxi but the will shuttle you to the terminal free. Highly reccommend this hotel.
