nrandal Posted August 22, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2007 I have a rental car for two days while on RCI Radiance oct 5&6th. Where can I park the rental overnight?
coupleofcruisers Posted August 22, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 22, 2007 There is a lot that is right by the Aloha Towers. In 2004 the cost was $25. That could have been for all day as well but we only needed it for overnight.
Jeano222 Posted August 22, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 22, 2007 Aloha Towers is on Oahu, op is looking for Lahaina. We have rented a room at Best Western across from the Lahaina pier. They have a free lot for guests. We needed the room for a wedding and wanted a staging area, plus bride and Groom will be there for wedding night. Free parking is the bonus. coupleofcruisers Posted August 22, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 22, 2007 Thank you Jeano for finding and correcting my error. Many apologies. We had a car in Lahaina for 2 days. There was a free public lot close to the tendering pier but it was always full. We parked at the lot behind the Burger King. It cost $1 per hour during the day and $5 after 5pm.(total, not per hour) and we didn't have to have the car out at a certain time in the morning. Of course we had things to do and places to see so we were out fairly early.:D
Jeano222 Posted August 22, 2007 #5 Share Posted August 22, 2007 The parking situation sucks in Lahaina, so does traffic from what I hear, but it makes sense to rent a car to give you more touring options. We were lucky and got entertainment rate at Alamo for minivan for two days for 101.75 including all tax. This way we have room for 7 people in the van and works out pretty cheap overall, plus we can be on our own schedule.
Desert Cruizers Posted September 16, 2007 #6 Share Posted September 16, 2007 Anyone parked at the Diamond Parking Lot, heard it was about $ 15/day is that correct. Couple I think that is the one behind Burger King, and they told me it was close to the Wharf. Is it in a well lit area.
mii Posted September 17, 2007 #7 Share Posted September 17, 2007 Whereabouts does the tenders land in Lahaina. I am familiar with Lahaina as I have stayed on land vacations there so am curious whereabouts the tenders land. Marilyn
Jeano222 Posted September 17, 2007 #8 Share Posted September 17, 2007 Tenders come into the pier right in front of Best Western hotel, Banyan park is right there too to give you a point of reference.
