On Board credit question

On our forth coming cruise we have been given on board credit.

without making me feel like a complete idiot could some one please tell me how this works.

Do i need to go to the pursers desk to activate it or is it deducted from any spends at the end of the cruise

 

I think i read on a post that some pax had had real problems trying to get it.

Hi Lou,

 

You do nothing except spend. You can check with the purser(reception), but when we have had it we find it taken off the bill first. Remember you get a preliminary bill a few days before you end your cruise. You can make a detailed check at this time.
