Turtle cove in St. Thomas...how many on boat?

Trying to decide on the Turtle cove sail and snorkel or the full day catamaran to St. John, or a private charter sail boat that goes to Buck Island.

Does anyone know how many are on the boat for the Turtle Cove excursion to Buck island that Princess offers?

Any feedback would be appreciated. I looked at the St. Thomas boards and didn't get a clear idea as to how crowded the boat gets.

We just came back on Sunday from the Crown and took this excursion. It was excellent! About 30 to a boat, not crowded at all. The snorkeling was fun, we saw three turtles. Really cool! The sail back to port was a blast, plenty of rum punch, sun, reggae music, and fun. You get a tattoo (temp) as well.

Two years ago, we took the SeaBlaster to Turtle Cove and had about 15 people onboard. On a previous visit, we sailed there on the Dancing Dolphin (?) with maybe 30 people.

We took the Dolphin as well. Great fun! Great crew!

We did the full day catamaran to St Johns over the Christmas holidays in Dec 2005. That was our favorite excursion on the 10-day cruise. Great staff, nice boat, good lunch, and most importantly, great snorkeling in St J!!
