I'm just up the road from you in Onalaska. I've never been in your shoes. My DH loves to cruise. But It was my idea the first time. He went along with it because its what I wanted for our 20th. I have plenty of ammunition though because he loves to canoe the Boundry Waters every year. I do wish you the best of luck because as previous posters have said most people who don't think they'll like it, love it.

Hey!! Nice to see someone so close on here!!! How ya liking this cold weather? i'm not. . LOL anyways i'm crossing my fingers. . I told him I went out and bought a new formal gown and he loves it when I dress really nice.. and I have never worn something this formal before since my wedding gown. . so i'm hoping just me dolling myself up nicer will encourage him and help him to enjoy it. . and the fact that the kids won't be going along. So we will see. :rolleyes:

Yor DH sounds like me. I was hesitant to go on my first and went with the attitude of planning on not liking it. I had such a kick we now go yearly.
