Liberty 9a

We usually book at Cat 11 but with all the positive things I have heard about the Cat 9A wrap balcony I think I am going to bite the bullet and forego my bath tub and book a 9A.

 

Which is the best in terms of cabin space. Empress, Verandah or Upper? Looks like no one wants them on Nov 4 sailing of the Liberty and I have 3 decks to choose from.

 

I have seen pictures some great pics but mostly of the balcony. The balcony of course is important but I need feedback on the cabin itself.

My own personal choice would be the Empress Deck. A floor with cabins above and below makes for less noise. However, any aft balcony would be

I have been on all 3 decks of afts and the most quiet is deck 7 empress.

Deck 6 is loud from the club below and sometimes will only book 3 in the cabin, deck 8 is a 2 person only cabin and you can hear noise from the Lido deck above all night long.

Deck 7.......nice & quiet.

We had 6452 on the Glory in April. We have 7445 on the Empress deck next year. We did hear noise from the clubs below; but really we are moving because it will affect our family more than us....it is much louder in the rooms as you walk towards the elevators. Here are a few pictures of our cabin; very roomy!

Just thought I'd add that the balconies are different between the decks.......on some you get more side or aft balcony. I know someone that it was a concern to wrap up the side more (I know...minor detail).
