I just visited your cute little town of Carcross on 5/10 , but did not realize someone from the board actually lived there. I had read the boards before and came across some of your postings, but never paid attention to where you were from, dummy me..I would have loved to have met you, but hey, it just gives me a reason to go back..lol...We enjoyed the visit to your town very much..We had a nice lunch in the big building, the lady there was so sweet and made a great roastbeef sandwhich for us..My husband went to the bar and talked to guys in there about fishing and I went into the little shop and got tricked by the "outhouse".It was a beautiful drive from Skagway to Emerald Lake and we even had a moose walk out in front of us as we made the drive back to Skagway..

I was in Carcross back on the 21st and met someone walking their dog at the visitors center. A fairly small "big haired" dog who was going to get shaved soon. Was this you?

Sorry I didnt get to meet you Murray, but did have a nice chat with Gail at Cinnamon Cache. Did she ever figure out how to find this board? She said she had searched to see what was being discussed since everyone who stopped in off the cruise ship mentions it. I gave her the address again.
Thanks to all who made the trip to Carcross and Emerald Lake fun and exciting. Very nice people in the visitors center too.
