Kotor and Sarande

Recommended Posts

Although I didn't have a guide, I have been to Kotor. It is a lovely walled city. We strolled through it and enjoyed seeing the city as it is lived in now. We stopped at a cafe for coffee and could hardly believe the low prices. Kotor is a mix of the very old and the new. The new was that most places had air conditioning before a lot of Italy and they had satellite dishes. I loved the contrast and the people.

We stopped at Kotor for a short day this summer. Unless you are there for a very long day, or have seen the town before, I am sure there will be enough in the town to interest you. It was just a few steps from the ship. The more energetic took a walk up the 1,350 steps to see the fantastic view from the old fort.
