Florida Panthers info request

Before I embark on a 10 day cruise next February I would like to curtail my hockey fix by taking in a Florida Panthers hockey game.

I'm just wondering about distance to the arena from Fort Lauderdale port area.

I will not have a rental car so any idea on a cab fair? Any other way to get there and back, such as a shuttle or something?

The distance is about 17 miles, a 20 minute drive from the port area. Cab fare will run you about $45 each way plus tip. You may be better off hiring a limo or better yet, a town car service. I'd also check with your hotel to see what they recommend, they may know if the public bus that runs past your hotel can get you out there. It's an easy drive, renting a car is under $45.
