bed configuration

I am traveling with my son to celebrate his 21st birthday. We won't want the beds pushed together. Do I wait until we board the ship to tell our cabin steward or can I somehow let Carnival know in advance? When I sailed on Celebrity Century, I requested this in the boarding documents, but I have not found a way to do this on the Carnival website.

I would just wait, they may not even be pushed together when you get there; odds are they won't be. If they are, just ask to get them pulled apart; no biggie.

I suppose you can call your PVP or TA and ask for this to be put on your reservations....:cool: If not, I am sure your room sterward won't mind making the beds up again if they are wrong:)

One on board and You meet your Room Steward, just inform Him that You would like the beds separated. No big deal, they will gladly set the cabin up the way you prefer.

thanks for the responses. I just didn't want the steward to have to go to any extra work in case they weren't together before we arrived.

If you have the same last name they might assume your married and have the bed together.

 

But like the others said.....just ask the steward and he/she will separate them for you. No problems!!!

My 18yo son and I just got back from our cruise on Ecstasy, and the beds were together when we went into our room so i just asked our steward to separate them, and it was done by the time we got back from dinner.

Yes, you can request when booking or just by asking your TA. They usually get it right. That is one of the questions usually asked by the agent.

Ask you PVP or TA to note the bed config. on your cabin assignment.

 

If not you steward will be happy to make the change. They have to turn down the beds while you are at dinner anyway.
