Bishop Museum

I really have my heart set on seeing the Bishop Museum in Honolulu. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get there from the pier, as I won’t be renting a car. My understanding is that it is located some way to the west of the city…

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

The Bishop Museum isn't very far from the port where you'll be docked. Maybe four or five miles away, take 15 minutes by taxi. I've attached a map showing the location of where you're ship will be in port and the location of the Bishop Museum. I'm not sure how much a taxi would cost since I don't take cabs here but it's not a long ride.

Here's their website link for more information on hours, admission prices, maps and directions, etc. Have a great time -- we couldn't fit a visit to the Bishop Museum into our July trip, but it is very high on our priority list for our first return visit to Oahu. :)
