Seattle Westin Hotel

I just booked the Westin Hotel in Seattle via Priceline for $110.00. This is for Friday – July 16th.
Just curious, has anyone stayed here? If so, any comments. How close to any major attractions?

Thanks so much
Sandie

PS. I tried using the search but it is not working right now :-)

Sandie I have never personally stayed at the Westin. However, I have heard and read good things about it. If you go the "Hotel" section of the Cruise Critic Message Boards you should be able to find information, that's where I did. If the search is not working, scroll down and look at entries for Seattle hotels. We are going to do the Seattle to Seattle Alaska trip next year and plan to stay at the Westin. One of my husband's co-workers just return from there and absolutely loved the place. I think you will be happy with your choice.

The Westin is an excellent hotel (something of a landmark, built for the 1962 World's Fair), located in the middle of the downtown retail core, convenient to most everything. Bill & Hill preferred it Presidential-Suite-wise.

Note Westin Hotels was formerly headquartered in Seattle, and this was their flagship property.
