Has anyone stayed at Westin Coral Cables in Miami?

I booked my cruise through RCCL and they changed my hotel with no extra fee to the Westin Coral Gables- Has anyone stayed here?

Westin sounds very nice. Coral Gables is a little away from the port, but to me is old Florida in housing style, used to be a really nice place to live, not sure its as nice, but Id stay there.

 

It might cost and extra $5 on the cab ride to the port though being a little further from the port.

The Westin, more commonly referred to as The Colonnade, is a wonderful hotel in downtown Coral Gables. You will easily be able to walk to Miracle Mile, which offers great restaurants. You will not be disappointed.

The Colonnade is a AAA 4 diamond hotel.I have never stayed there, however I have been inside the lobby and the restaurants and I know friends who have stayed at the hotel. The lobby and food were very nice,and my friends had only nice things to say about the hotel. The village of merrick park,a upscale shopping center is 5 minutes away, Coconut Grove is only 5-10 minutes away, and Coral Gables is known for its great restaurants. You can't go wrong.
