WC bound, but seeking adventure!

We are cruising for the 1st time and we are porting into Barbados, St Lucia, Antigua, Tortola, and St Thomas. My husband is in a wheelchair, but we love adventure and trying fun activities. Does anyone know of some fun excursions to try on any of these islands that are wheelchair friendly?

I am not sure if this will work for you but I think it is worth a try to talk to Captain Pat about. In St Thomas she has a sailboat and will take you sailing and snorkeling. I have MS and some mobility but she does take my walker onto her ship with us. She has always been very accomodating and has a guide take us snorkelling. The guide does offer to pull me if I am too weak in the legs. We have gone with her more than once and am planning on chartering her again in Dec. The freedom in the water is so liberating and we have seen some pretty amazing animal life under the sea:) Because of the personal attention and the way she has altered things based on my needs it is a fabulous excursion.

We did most of the islands you are asking about in May of this year. I really did extensive research. It was tough!!! The ports are not very wheelchair friendly & the people act "scared" of you when they see the wheelchair!!!
