TUNE2 Posted September 13, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 13, 2007  I'M TRAVELING WITH MY DAUGHTER 18 MONTHS OLD. WE ARE GOING TO CANADA NEW ENGLAND. WE HAVE MANY SHORE EXCURSIONS BOOKED THAT INCLUDE BUS OR TROLLY RIDE IN CANADA AND US.WHEN WE BOOKED NONE OF THE EXCURSION COMPANYS CHARGED US FOR HER. SHOULD I ASSUME THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE SEATBELTS AND A CAR SEAT IS NOT REQUIRED .

If you did not have to pay for your 18mo old, you many have to hold her on your lap since the tour may be sold out. You'll have to make the decision about whether or not that tour is worth the added risk.
crusinmama06 Posted September 13, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2007 Bus or trolly have no seatbelts, so she would be a "lap baby" with no car seat. Just double check with the cruiseline that it won't be a shuttle VAN. We have run into this a few times. In a shuttle van, it would be much safer to have a car seat with you.
