Late Departure of the Ecstacy today?

Just listening to the local news here in Houston this morning and they are saying the this cruise will leave @6pm out of Galviston instead of 4pm due to the hurricane that hit last night...............Just an FYI for all you sailing with her.

I think it would be fun, crazy gal that I am. Went through semi-rough seas last year on the Conquest, loved it. Everyone else was sick, though! ;)

I was on this sailing and the Cpt did an excellent job! Would never had known we were tailing a hurricane. Cpt. Pier said we were approx 100 miles behind the storm. Kudos to the crew.

 

FYI, there is no Weather Channel the ship. That was a little annoying. We had it on the last cruise. But the rest was A1! As usural.

 

PS. FWIW, I remember a thread about Steaksauce a while back. YES the do carry it:D
