cherylandtk Posted September 14, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 14, 2007 This is not a balcony cabin, this is an outside window cabin (actually two portholes). It does have very quick and easy access to the Terrace pool and deck, so although not a private balcony, it is often specifically chosen by those who want that easy access location. On the Emerald Princess it is R751, on the Crown it is R749--they are not quite identical ships. You will want to look at actual deckplans at princess.com to be sure you are selecting the type room you want.
Britter16 Posted September 16, 2009 #4 Share Posted September 16, 2009 Crown E201 anyone stay in this cabin? We were in P201 and are hoping the 2 decks between will muffle some of the noises from anchor chains and thrusters.

cherylandtk Posted June 1, 2010 #6 Share Posted June 1, 2010 Do you by any chance mean C205 which is a BB category room? If so, then you have booked a balcony room with an oversize balcony, other cabins above, below and across from you (= should be quiet). It is forward, which might feel more up-and-down motion, but that may or may not bother you and depens on the sea conditions. The room is on a lower deck and should not feel much side to side sway or roll. The balcony is half covered and half open, giving you the best of both worlds.
