Just A Couple Of Questions!!! What's The Difference Between Speedy's And Smith's Ferry Service. I Actually Like The Time's Offered Better By Smith's . Do They Have A Package Deal Like Speedy's Does.

 

Question 2-- Is It A Place You Could Spend A Good Part Of The Day Relaxing Or Is It Over Crowded.

 

Also Going Through The Baths My Mother Does Not Swim Will This Be A Problem???

 

What Is The Restaurant Like -- Is It Worth Eating At Or Heading Somewhere Else???

I recommend going to the Holland America boards and doing a search of Superstein61's recent review of the Zuiderdam. He gave very detailed info regarding the baths and will answer some of your questions. Some posters later on in the review (like me!) ask him more Baths questions which he kindly answered. I won't repeat the info here since he can say it better.:)

If you do a general search of the baths/virgin gorda you will find lots of opinions about the fitness level needed to be safe. In general, most opinions are that a snorkel vest or life jacket is a must due to the unexpected current in some areas. They don't have these there (I am told) so you will have to bring your own. I just bought 2 snorkel vests from an ebay seller for about $26 each, a great price. We will make our visit there in November. Happy Searching!
