When are formal nights?

On the 7 day southern Carribean cruises is it safe to assume that the formal nights we be held on "at sea" days?

This is the usual unless your last night is a sea day. Formal night is never your last night. Sometimes it can be on a night when you had an early port departure time. Your docs when they arrive will indicate the dress code for each evening

AnneBonny, just so you don't think something's wrong with your documents .. my documents do not show which nights are what dress ... for my 10 day cruise, it only states "3 formal and 7 casual."
