chrob Posted September 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2007 We have arranged our own flights so cannot book transfers through RCCL. Does anyone know the cost of a taxi from Sao Paulo to Santos or any tour operater who we can ask for a transfer quote?

chrob Posted September 19, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted September 19, 2007 Thank you Woton for your reply. Unfortunately the link you gave is to a Spanish (I think) website and I do not understand the language. We have had a couple of quotes of $232 and $262 for 2 people and so I think we may just take a taxi if as you say it will be less than $100. We are staying the night before the cruise at the Quality Hotel & Suites Congonhas Airport so it should be less than $100 based on your previous reply. Thank you for help
dabear Posted September 20, 2007 #4 Share Posted September 20, 2007 chrob: are your quotes pp or for both of you? We've been searching for a pick up at the ship in Santos, tour SP and drop us off at airport and found nothing less than $200pp. Your details would be appreciated. Mines Posted September 21, 2007 #8 Share Posted September 21, 2007 I am trying to remember the name of the company that we used. I think it was expressoluxo, that run a fleet of Zaphiras. They were quite comfortable, picked us up at the cruise terminal and took 6 people. Their website is www.expressluxo.com.br Another that could be used is http://www.irissolemar.com.br/frameset-transfer.htm as suggested by Wotan758. Sorry, but both of these websites are in Portuguese. However, you should be able to understand the telephone numbers, so they might have someone who speaks English to give a quote. Otherwise, send them an e-mail in English with your request and see if they are able to reply.

infohunter Posted September 21, 2007 #10 Share Posted September 21, 2007 I'll post this in a new thread as well as this is a great trick to use if you are on a site that you need translated. For Portuguese to English just add the following in front of the URL (Web address) http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=pt&u= So in the case of on the last transportation site the full URL would be http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=pt&u=http://www.irissolemar.com.br/frameset-transporte.htm Another translation trick is to use one of the online translation sites. I like BabelFish at http://babelfish.altavista.com/ Just put in your URL and then select the language pair and you are good to go. Hope that this helps
