luvcruisez Posted September 22, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2007 We are considering taking the trip from Chile to Argentina departing on March 1, and are wondering if this is too late in the year. Will it be much colder? Are the seas likely to be rougher? Would appreciate some feedback from those who have done a March cruise. Thanks.
San Diego Ellie Posted September 27, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 27, 2007 We are going on a cruise that departs Buenos Aires on Feb. 17, and I doubt that the weather will be that much different just two weeks later. From what I have read, we can all expect some rough seas, but some people have been lucky and had relatively smooth Drake crossings. Actually you should probably also go to some rollcalls for March SA cruises and see what they have to say, or pose your questions there as well. There is a March 6 Star Princess cruise rollcall, and I am sure there are rollcalls for the other March SA cruises.
