Ship Security

I dunno, I had the nerve to be dancing in the disco with some friends with out my shoes. Carnival sent 2 security guards to make sure I put my shoes back on before I did any more dancing on the ship.

 

They don't have time to deal with drunk, disorderly folks, they have to spend their time making sure the disco crowd is shod!

 

PS. I was not drunk, I was dancing fairly sedately, there was only our group in the disco.

Celebrity's security are Israeli. I know for a fact, because we all spoke Hebew together. All of us have been in the IDF, and I state they are trained well. They said I dont even get special privilages when it comes to security.

So they are doing their job.

If you notice over the past few years Carnival has started posting 1 -2 security officers outside of the disco each evening. One to prevent underage kids from entering, and also I have seen them stop and question passengers who appear to be intoxicated before they enter and sometimes turning them away and telling them they need to head back to their cabin and sleep it off.

So a kid was cussing at a woman, she grabbed his arm, and she was escorted off the ship? How old was the kid?

 

 

Yeah this one made me pause too. I could easily see me holding a child by the arm and asking where his parents were so that I could take the child to them and report the behavior. Sad what the world is coming to. The kids aren't failing us.....we are failing them.

This was so funny b/c when we went on our last cruise (me, hubby, brother and SIL)there was a drunk guy that thought he could say stuff to anyone!! The funny part was I am very small compared to my brother and this was the first night (he is 6'5 250-300 lbs and i am 5'4 110-120 lbs) and he though he was going to say something to me while I was getting us drinks!! My brother walked up and said what did you say to her??.LOL. Of course the drunk guy said nothing and walked away!!The rest of the cruise everyone (even staff)thought he was our security..LOL!! People even asked me where is your security gaurd.....LOL And needless to say we never had a problem!!
