:confused: Hi! Has anyone taken this excursion? We are on the Diamond 11/18 and are signed up for it. There is not much on the threads and I would like to know more from someone who has done this. Thanks for your help.

All I can say is that we went on our Kauai shore excursion with a couple of people who had done it the day before and they said it was boring.

The ferry appears to be in a channel where there are many whales. Since people are beginning to see them, I thought it would be a "double" excursion -- 1. to Lana'i and 2. Whale watching over and back.

 

I was on a whale watch trip in Newfoundland, and we got extremely close to the whales so I don't need to get that close again, but I wouldn't mind seeing them.

 

On the other hand, it's an all day excursion, and I want to know if it's worth the time.

No, we are not doing this one. Here is our plans:

Hilo....Secrets of Puna

Kona....renting a car and doing our own thing

Honalulu....rent car and go to Pearl Harbour and not sure what else hubby has planned.

Kauai....Helicopter tour with Safari Tours...booked that on our own.

Maui....beach day

What are your other plans?
