Christ Church Big Five or Four Tour??

Has anyone taken this tour and did you have enough time at each place? Did they pick you up at the ship and drop you off there?

We will be in Christchurch on 2/24 and from my research and the wonderful informative CC's it seems like this stop is a good area to see on foot. They have a tram (http://www.tramway.co.nz.) that is a hop on hop off all day for $12.50. This will give you an opportunity to stay at each site at your leisure. Then if you want to add the gondola you can buy a combo ticket for $30.00.

The gondola is a scenic and gentleway of seeing the surrounding countryside from the top. The gondola climbs to the summit of Mt. Cavendish. You can explore on your own, walk down if you wish, ride or if you are a thrill seeker you can tandem paraglide down:):):).
