CaliforniaMama Posted October 17, 2007 #26 Share Posted October 17, 2007 I do not know if I'm allowed to post other sites, but I THINK the deal I got was good. The Wonder 3nt, 4 ppl, Gaurantee Cat 11 for $1500 on the (EX...website. It was cheaper to call it in) And all the Reservation info is on the disney site already. Sounds like a good deal to me! caldebi Posted October 17, 2007 #27 Share Posted October 17, 2007 My husband and I have been on a few of the Disney cruises, even for our 30th anniversary. I must say that I would love to only do the Disney ships, but money doesn't grow on trees here (and even if it did nothing is growing here due to the drought). We are going on the RCCL Mariner in a few days and I am very excited, but there is always the part of me that says "Why didn't I just pick another Disney cruise?" When people ask us what line we like the best it is always "Disney." We have never taken children. Isn't that funny? Anyway - I know that even when I am on another ship I always look over at the Disney ship in port and am envious of the sail away party they are having. I love all things Disney too. I've had an annual pass to Disneyland now for 13 years... since before I had kids... and still I get all excited every time I drive up. I'm practically jumping up and down when I get in the gates! I never lose that. So I know that I'll enjoy the DCL every bit as much as the kids will. I'm really hoping that DH will enjoy it that much too, and agree to book a weeklong Magic cruise while we're on the Wonder...!;)
krystalkruzer Posted October 24, 2007 #29 Share Posted October 24, 2007 I wouldn't consider the smelliest, loudest, tackiest place on the ship to be it's heart. On the Disney ships, it would be the Mickey pool for most, the engine room for me. I have been in the casinos on ships and they are NOT everything you allege them to be.Do not falsely label something because you do not like it ! Aandark Posted October 24, 2007 #30 Share Posted October 24, 2007 I have a question for all of you disney cruisers out there. We like to cruise but have no children. Is a disney cruise something that 2 adults can do and be entertained by...or does it require children to really enjoy?

Well said Mick. I've only seen an engine room on The Travel Channel and the Bridge behind glass. Looks like we have a tie for the heart of the ship and The casino isn't in the running! lol I will be sailing my first Disney cruise in March '08. Can't wait. CP3o Posted October 25, 2007 #32 Share Posted October 25, 2007 I have been in the casinos on ships and they are NOT everything you allege them to be.Do not falsely label something because you do not like it ! He's just talkin', that's allowed. Besides, even those who really like the casino can attest to the tacky decor - I think it's a goal of all casino carpet to be a colorful tacky pattern. The places often reek of smoke with a hint of sweat and it is pretty darn loud with those slots machines ding-a-linging all the time. I don't think his comments were so far off and he's allowed to state his opinion. His comments aren't going to stop anyone who likes to gamble from stepping into a casino on their ship to judge for themselves.
