grayline bus to Butchart info please

Is there still a Grayline bus that runs to Butchart (not a tour) and back? Where is the kiosk? Is there a shuttle at the port to take you to the Empress?

The last day for the shuttle is today. The only way to get there is on a tour. They leave from the front of the Empress.

There is also Pacific Coach Lines who run a shuttle to and from Butchart - they are located at 700 Douglas St, right behind the Empress Hotel

The only shuttle is run by grayline. It ended for the season Sept. 30.

We were in Victoria last week and went to Butchart Gardens using the local buses. Catch the 30 or 31 bus just outside of the port area and transfer to the 75 bus. The 75 bus takes you right into the Gardens. The only problem is that you need Canadian currency in exact change. The driver was nice enough to take us to a news stand where they sell bus passes and we bought an all day pass for $7 U.S.

 

The shuttle bus was probably a little faster but we always enjoy riding the local transportation system whenever possible.
