Breakfast In Ft.Lauderdale ?

We are staying at the Marriott BeachPlace Towers ... need a good "southern - eggs,bacon, toast, and french fries" place to eat - any suggestions for early risers ??

over on 17th in one of the shopping centers (will you have a car?) is h & e deli...more NY style but the food looked great...i didn't get a chance to try it but others here have.....and IIRC it had good prices...

i knew i messed up not going there...i was a little stuffy and sinusy and they have matzoh ball soup...that cures everything...oh well...guess i have to go back!

Thanks Meg... this place is just fine!! We really appreciate seeing a menu! I know we are in the middle of some fine places to eat, but sometimes the breakfast menus do not seem as appealing as all of the great Florida Seafood which take top billing !!! You have been most helpful.

thanks...bequia may have other thoughts, but when i waslked by one day around 9:30-10 it was packed and the food looked good..i googled it and found the link to the menu...not that it is typical southern at all, but good and cheap works for me.....

 

it's in a shopping center, kind of hidden IIRC and i want to say that the buildings were yellowish...and i think it is by the ofice depot and CVS..if you go over the 17th st bridge with the renaissance on the right i think it is a little past it (and the shopping center right across the parking lot with that bimini boatyard place)
