Cruising over the Holidays

Hi All,

We're booked on the Celebration over Christmas week and we have heard that the Holiday cruises sell out quickly. Checked today and there are still a lot of cabins left. Does this mean we might get upgraded? (Booked inside GTY in April) Has this ever happened to anyone over a Holiday week? Or do they hold off assigning GTYs to try and sell out?

Not obssessing about it..... just curious as it's my first GTY booking.

Thanks

Holiday sailing usually sell out and go for more. They use gty's to get the most they can. If they don't sell fast enough they may upgrade you to sell more of the lower cats. If things are going good they will keep selling the higher levels and leave you down. You never no what you will get with gty. That said I usually gamble and take the gty.
