Groups - Dinner Seating

Hi, we have been on 4 Carnival cruises and we are taking our 5th this January. The difference is that we are going with a group of family and friends...about 30 people. We have booked the group with our PVP and he has linked all the files together....he has also asked for us all to have the same dinner time and room. My wife is sort of the designated organizer and we were wondering what else we can do to ensure that we are all seated in the same general area of the dining room. Obviously at different tables, but hopefully close together...as it is a family group.

 

Has anyone had any experiences...can you email the Maitre'D a few weeks before the cruise and make sure....we have gone to him/her in the past as soon as getting on the ship for minor changes, but this would be really hard to correct if we were all over the place.

 

Any thoughts...?

On our last cruise we were with a huge group. We did link our reservations for dinner and our tables were side by side.

All you need to do is link your bookings for dining and you will be fine. You may or may not be side by side, but you most likely will. We book over 100 people and are always in the same general area.
