Can you still cards from the pursers desk?

Should I pack some or do you know if they still give these away, we are on the Fantasy.

The last few cruises I've been on, they haven't had them. Pack some just in case.

We sailed on Conquest in August. They gave us two decks just for asking.

We just sailed the Fantasy in August, the purser's desk didn't have them but if you go to the Casino, for $2 they will give you a deck of cards in a pouch, it has a strap on it and a clear front, we used them as landyards, they held of our room key and sail and sign....it was perfect.

Last few cruises you have had to go to the casino and buy them (cheap)... I think they were a buck or two.

No the Pursers Desk will not give them on the Fantasy but did on the Conquest. As others said get them in the Casino for $2, while you are there get the free lanyard they give. I was also wonderful for holding my room key, sail and sign and coke cards.

When we sailed the Victory last November we rec'd free cards from the Purser's Desk.

They are doing away with free decks of cards from the pursers desk, if you ask and get a deck, then you scored. They will now tell you to go to the Casino and buy a deck for $1.

 

I checked this past April onboard the Spirit and they told me they no longer give them away, to head to the Casino for them.

Youre better off packing your own decks because like I stated above, they are doing away with this practice. If you do not want to bring a deck, you can buy one at the Casino for $1.

I was on the elation last November and we were giving playing cards when we asked. Just be sure to ask for playing card and not a deck of cards because they try to give you the ship deck plan card at first
