Travelbug 2 Posted October 11, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 11, 2007 Can anyone tell me if the water transportation in Venice can handle a person with a 4 wheel walker? My wife uses a rollater type walker, (fold up) and we will be visiting Venice next year.
Peanut Patricia Posted October 12, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2007 You might try to either search this or pose your question on the "disabled cruise travel" board. I'm sure that will help you.
salsagirl Posted October 12, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 12, 2007 Most of the water transportation, and in fact most of Venice, required at least a step or two. In fact, most of the bridges were not ramps but a series of steps. You may want to get some specialized advice about managing Venice in your situation or you may be very badly surprised.
