Johnny789 Posted October 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2007 Does anyone know if you are still able to get cash for use in the casino charged to your seapass card. I did last year just trying to find out if they still do it. Thanks

Bakincakes Posted October 12, 2007 #7 Share Posted October 12, 2007 Yes..you can still do it. However many pax have been abusing this by charging thousands to get the points...hoarding the money and then paying off the cards when they get home. They are also using the casino as their personal ATM..withdrawing money and not using it in the casino but on shore. Eventually RCI will probably seriously curtail the ability to get $$ with the seapass because they will grow tired of being used as a bank. AFT_LOVER Posted October 12, 2007 #10 Share Posted October 12, 2007 but only $100 a night, then use $20 total in machines to see how cold they were. Then we'd get $200 and still no trouble. Took home $600 less tips that were charged.

The points people make only get them back on the ship sooner (and are from BoA anyway), and getting petty cash from the casino relieves the Purser's staff from having to do it. If it does ever stop, it will be from the Casino Operators complaining to RCI, not from RCI.
