Grand Circle Island Tour-Honolulu

Could anyone tell me if the Grand Circle Island tour through Roberts drops you off at the airport after the tour. It says on their web site that it starts between 700 am and 750 am and returns at 400pm. Our flight doesn't leave until 1010pm and really didn't want to get off the ship that early even if we were cleared to be. The same tour through Norwegion is more than double the price at $89 and stated that it's for guests with departure times after 800pm. I'm assuming we are dropped off at the airport?

Also if our air and transfers are already paid and we book this tour through the ship will we be credited our departure transfer? It's difficult to find something to do for the whole day with such a late flight and we don't want to have to worry about our luggage. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also how was this tour?

The Grand Circle Island tour from Roberts will not drop you off at the airport, but the NCL tour will. We also have a late flight, so we are taking the NCL tour, because besides the convenience your luggage is on the bus with you. We did this exact same thing two years ago and it worked out well.

There are several tours offered by Roberts that will drop you off at the airport, along with your luggage. We did the Highlights of Oahu tour in September when we disembarked the POH. We had already seen the North Shore, PCC and Dole Plantation, so this tour was great for us as it went to the Diamond Head side of the island, heading north then east through the mountains back to Honolulu. It was perfect for us as our flight left at 5 PM. The North Shore tour offered by them will drop you off at the airport at approximately 4 PM. This is great as your luggage goes on the bus with you, and the tour cost the same as the Fly program that takes care of your luggage on the ship. We were not eligible for the Fly program as our airline does not participate, so the tour was excellent for us. By the way, if you book the Roberts tour at the pier after you leave the ship, the price is $25 (for the one we took) and we only paid $19 for booking online before we left home. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and it was well worth the cost. It was a good ending to our stay in Hawaii.

Thank you for replying. That helps. We will book through the ship for the longer tour so we aren't trying to kill time at the airport. Our flight home doesn't get back into Calgary until Sunday Dec 2 so it will be an extremely LONG day.
