We got a flash deal via EMail last week and signed up for the Wind Spirit for 7 days out of St. Thomas, December 8-15, 2007.

 

Anyone else on this sailing?

My husband and I are on the 12/8/07 Windstar cruise from St. Thomas. It will be our first Windstar Cruise. We do not like the large cruise ships and hope this will be a nice alternative. Have a few questions about how dressed up the woman get for dinner. Also, do you need to bring your own beach towels? We like to snorkel and have signed up for a couple of shore tours that include snorkeling.

DAVE22 ... we took our first Windstar cruise last year and loved the small ship atmosphere. I'll ask my wife and get back to you on the dress question, but from what I remember it was about the same as going to a nice restaurant for dinner. She wore casual dresses, I wore dockers and golf shirts.

 

Do not bring beach towels. They are readily available as you get off the ship.
